The 2008 Safe Crisis Management Recertification Program will provide an interactive case study that will integrate functional behavior assessment into existing SCM content in order to assist in planning and implementing more effective intervention strategies. there will also be a focus on "Best Practice Standards" and legal responsibility. The entire SCM physical skills portion will be reviewed, practiced and tested.
As a SCM Instructor, you are required to attend an Annual Recertification Training Program to retain your instructor status. Instructors will be required to pass a written test on the major concepts. Participants should prepare by reviewing the SCM Instructor's Manual thoroughly. In addition, participants must successfully demonstrate proficiency in all physical skills. Completion of this required program provides instructors and their organization with a recognized professional status.
All instructors should bring their SCM Instructor's Manual to this year's Recertification Program!
